Scentwork

Scentwork training is a great, challenging activity that provides your dog with the opportunity to use their nose for good! Training your dog is use their strongest sense in a way that is fun, and engaging, is a wonderful way to develop your relationship with your dog, and give them a healthy and productive "job" to do!

Scentwork is a great activity for any dog regardless of their age, size, breed or fitness level. That's right, you don't have to own a spaniel or hound to enjoy scentwork with your dog! There is no age limit for scentwork as puppies and older dog can work at their own pace (although they should have some basic training), and it is a great activity for owners with mobility issues too, as your dog can work off-lead or on a longline. ​​​

Did you know...

Sniffing causes a release of "happy" hormones in dogs, and studies have found that scentwork can make dogs more confident, more optimistic and improve their emotional wellbeing. 
 

We like to keep class sizes small (no more that 6 dogs per session) to ensure each dog and handler have enough individual support and space so they can work effectively.
