It's Hard Not To Worry, When Your Dog's Body Starts To Struggle
Hearing that your dog has arthritis, hip or elbow dysplasia, or another long-term condition can be heartbreaking.
Suddenly, the things they once loved - long walks, jumping in the car, settling down to sleep - become uncomfortable or even painful.
You Might Be Feeling
-
Worried about how their condition will progress over time
-
Guilty for not noticing sooner that they were in pain
-
Sad that they can’t enjoy the activities they used to
-
Unsure how to help them feel more comfortable
-
Concerned about managing their needs day to day
The good news? Your dog doesn’t have to live in constant discomfort. And you’re not alone.
Massage therapy has made such a difference to my dog's arthritis. She's moving more freely and seems so much happier"

What Is Canine Massage Therapy?
Canine Massage Therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that supports dogs with chronic conditions, injury recovery, age-related stiffness, or general tension.
It works by:
✅Releasing endorphins to naturally ease pain and improve mood
✅Easing muscle tension caused by joint issues, injury, or compensation
✅Supporting mobility so your dog can move more freely and comfortably
✅Helping anxious or sensitive dogs feel calmer and more settled
The goal?
To improve both physical comfort and emotional wellbeing - so your dog can live a fuller, happier life despite their diagnosis.
I was worried my anxious dog wouldn't settle, but Charis was amazing. She worked at his pace and gained his trust. Now he loves his sessions!

A Rare Approach That Puts Comfort First
As a Qualified Behaviourist and Massage Therapist, I don't just focus on your dog's physical needs - I also understand how their emotions and experiences affect how they respond to touch, pain, and movement.
That means:
-
Nervous dogs are never pushed or forced
-
Every session is led by your dog's comfort and consent
-
I notice subtle signs of tension, pain, or emotional stress that others might miss
-
I can work alongside your vet or provide behaviour support to offer truly integrated care
This combination of knowledge is rare - and it means better outcomes for your dog.

FAQS
💬How long until I see results?
Many dogs show improvement within 1-3 sessions. Dogs with chronic pain may take longer, but gradual, lasting changes are the goal.
💬 My dog is anxious or reactive - will massage work for them?
Yes. Massage can be hugely beneficial for anxious or reactive dogs. Treatments are dog-led, meaning they choose the pace and length of the session. I'm also a qualified dog behaviourist, so I'm able to adapt and spot what your dog needs to feel at ease.
💬 Why do you need permission from my vet?
By law, veterinary consent is required for complementary therapies like massage. This ensures it's safe for your dog and won't interfere with other treatments. It also give us the chance to work together with your vet for the best outcome.
💬 Will this really help my dog?
Massage has been shown to improve comfort and quality of life in dogs with a wide range of conditions. While it isn't a cure, it can make a significant difference in reducing pain, improving mobility, and supporting emotional wellbeing.
💬 How much does it cost?
The Introductory Package is £160 and includes a full consultation, wellbeing assessments, and three treatments. After that, ongoing sessions can be booked depending on your dog's needs. It is worth checking your insurance as many insurance companies will cover complementary therapies.
